The Hurricane Made ItReally Hard To Deal With The Hurricaneby Michael in New York on 9/15/2005 12:50:00 PMHilarious.</p><p> After laying blame literally everywhere, Brownie'sinterview with the NYT ends like this:Mr.</p><p> Brown acknowledged that he had been criticized for notordering a complete evacuation or calling in federal troopssooner.</p><p> But he said the storm made it hard tocommunicate and assess the situation."Until you have been there," he said, "you don't realize it isthe middle of a hurricane."That's his DEFENSE! It's really hard to figure out what's going onduring a hurricane.</p><p> And Brownie has no idea how utterly stupid thatargument is.</p><p> Well, with an explanation like that, there's clearly noneed to set up an independent commission and figure out whatmistakes were made.</p><p> Feel safer?
