Newer PostOlder PostF R I D A Y , J U L Y 1 5 , 2 0 0 5Today Show Aside: Supreme Courtby Michael in New York on 7/15/2005 02:00:00 AMWhen Katie Couric was running down the miserable pollnumbers for Bush, she discussed some questions about thevacancy of the Supreme Court.</p><p> In comparing the numbers ofpeople who said Bush should nominate someone who was a"strict constructionist" versus someone who acknowledged"changing realities/changing times" (a poorly wordedcomparison, I might add), Couric blithely described this as thechoice between a strict constructionist and a "judicial activist."Huh?
