(Thanks toreader Mary for pointing us to this.) Cops insist a camped outgroup of protestors advocating for Cindy have beentroublemakers and when Cindy showed up to speak to a crowdof 150+, the cops moved in, grabbed the mike away from herand arrested the local leader of the encampment.</p><p> The kicker?Inspector Michael McEnroy, commander of the 13thPrecinct, insisted the shutdown order had nothing todo with the content of Sheehan'?s speech, but wasinstead about the "provocation" caused by Zulkowitz. "Thishas been going on for much longer than today,"? McEnroysaid, adding of Sheehan, "I don't even know thewoman."? That last part prompted one pissed-off onlookerto shoot back: "Haven't you watched the news or read apaper in the last three months?"
